Publications Using CHIS Data
The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research frequently relies on CHIS data in many publications that cover health insurance, asthma, diabetes and other health conditions.
CHIS Research Clearinghouse
The CHIS Research Clearinghouse provides information about research projects using CHIS data. The Clearinghouse helps researchers learn about past studies or those currently in progress. It can help researchers to collaborate and publicize their work.
Data Access Center
The Data Access Center provides researchers with access to confidential data files in a secure, controlled environment that protects the confidentiality of respondents. These files contain detailed geographic identifiers and full demographic descriptions for the survey respondents, as well as highly sensitive information (e.g., sexual behaviors) that have been specifically excluded from the CHIS Public Use Data Files.
